Living in a Material World

One of the most common questions we get from our clients is, “Is this product really eco?”, or more accurately, “What makes this product eco?”. We believe that it is 100% right that you ask us these questions; after all, your brand relies on us knowing the answers on every product.

Bamboo

What makes a product eco, green or sustainable can vary from item to item and can include factors such as whether the material is recycled, whether the manufacturing process is carbon efficient or the whether the product has been made from sustainable raw materials.

We will always be honest and open regarding to what extent products are considered eco, so that you know exactly what you are buying.

For example, on a bamboo powerbank, the casing is made from sustainable bamboo but the battery and electronics are not, as this is just not possible at the moment. Of course, as processes and technology advance, we hope that one day the whole product can be made from recycled or 100% sustainable products.

At the other end of the scale, on a cotton bag where there is just one material used, we can state categorically whether it is organic, fair trade, recycled, unbleached etc and we are proud to do so.

There are even some items that specifically negate the need for single use plastics. Such as our hard-wearing aluminium water bottles that can be used time and time again, literally for years.

Rpet Speaker

What we pledge to our clients is that we will continue to scour the planet for materials, processes and partners who can help drive our sustainable merchandise range forward. Our goal, both currently and in the future, is to ensure that we always lead the field in eco and sustainable promotional products.

So please ask us this key question and we will let you know – whether it’s a tech item like a speaker, an Rpet backpack, a re-useable bottle or an umbrella, please just ask. And if there is a product in your head, that is not on our site, talk to us as it may already exist, and if it does we will do the sourcing and due diligence for you.

We believe that “What makes this product eco?” will become one of the most widely used phrases in business over the next decade. Ask it, insist on it and make sure that you get a satisfactory and honest answer.
